If I buy today when will I receive my order?

A. If you are in New Zealand you should expect to receive your parcel in about 3-7 working days. We attempt to ship out all our items the following day, and on some occasions (if the order is placed in the early morning), on the same day. There are occasions when this is not possible, so we ask that you give us 2-3 days for processing and packing your order.

The expected time for the delivery (not including the processing time):

  • Within New Zealand: 2-5 working days (Rural deliveries and deliveries to the South Island take longer)
  • To Australia: 5-10 working days
  • To the Rest of the World: 6-15 working days

What currency are the prices in?

A. All prices shown are in New Zealand dollars ($NZD), unless stated otherwise.

How do I shop in my currency?

A. Simply select your preferred currency in the dropdown menu in the top left hand corner of the screen. We currently support NZD, AUD, USD, CAD, and EUR.

Q. What can I do if the item I'm after is not available in the size I need?

A. If a particular size is not available or sold out, simply contact us directly via chat (in the bottom left hand corner), or flick us an email. We may be able to get you the size you need. Or it is possible that the particular product has come in and just hasn't yet been added to the store.

The product I'm looking at saying that 'Only 1 is Left', but I can see that there are different sizes there. What does that mean?

A. This means that there is only 1 piece left in one more sizes. It is there to let you know that the size you may be after has a high likelihood of being sold out. 

How will I know that the clothing item I bought will fit?

A. For clothing items strongly recommend that you consult the Size Chart, which is located just bellow the images on each product page. On some items you will also find a custom chart of product measurements, which are either located in the product description or in the product images as.

What if the item I bought doesn't fit?

A. When it comes to choosing the right size we ask that you first consult the size chart if there is one available on the product page. This is especially important when it comes to footwear as these need to fit well for optimum comfort and if you want there to be some room to grow.

However, it may happen that the size your purchased doesn't quite fit right. In that case simply return the item back to us by the postal or courier service most convenient to you, and will send you the same item in a different size if there is another size available. If you are located in New Zealand and Australia you will not have to pay for the delivery of the replacement item. 

If you are outside of New Zealand, simply pay for the return shipping and we will cover the cost of the delivery for the new item.

If you are in New Zealand all returns and exchanges are FREE. We will pay to have any items returned back to us and you won't have to pay for the delivery of the replacement item.

Not happy with your purchase for whatever reason?

A. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so if you are not thrilled with your Karibou items, simply send it back by which ever mail service is easiest for you and will process an exchange or refund in an easy and hassle-free way.

Please note that for any returns or exchanges the purchased items must be in its original/new condition and must have all original tags attached.

Are the items exactly the same as in the picture?

A. We have zero interest in deceiving our customers, so you can be confident that what you see is what you get. All the photos taken are of the actual products that you will receive. However, each screen is calibrated differently, so colours and vividness of colour may vary. Some handmade pieces may also have some variation in fabric pattern due to their uniqueness.

Where are the clothing and accessories made?

A. Our designers are located all over the globe, including the New Zealand, Australia, United Stated, Spain, Canada, and Korea. We always prefer ethically made clothing and items that are handmade, in small workshops and ethical factories and take this into consideration when when choosing our brands and designers.
